Product Name: Calathea Vitatta (P15c)

Calathea Vittata, also known as the Vittata Calathea or Prayer Plant, is a species of flowering plant in the Marantaceae family. It is native to the rainforests of Brazil, specifically the Amazon basin. Calathea Vittata is highly regarded for its ornamental foliage, making it a popular choice among houseplant enthusiasts.

The most striking feature of Calathea vittata is its unique leaf pattern. The leaves are lance-shaped and come in shades of light and dark green. The light green areas are adorned with distinct, thin dark green stripes, creating a visually captivating contrast. The undersides of the leaves are usually a purplish color.

Like other Calathea species, the leaves of Calathea vittata exhibit a unique behavior known as nyctinasty. This means that the leaves fold upward in the evening, resembling hands in prayer, and then unfold during the day to maximize light absorption. This characteristic movement gives rise to the common name "Prayer Plant."
