Product name: Drosera Mix (P10.5c)

Drosera Capensis, commonly known as Sundews, is a genus of carnivorous plants in the Droseraceae family. These fascinating plants are known for their ability to capture and digest small insects and other arthropods. They typically have rosettes of leaves that are covered in glandular hairs or tentacles. The leaves are often flat and have a sticky secretion at the tips of the tentacles. These sticky droplets act as a trapping mechanism to catch and digest insects.

Drosera are carnivorous, meaning they have evolved to supplement their nutritional needs by trapping and digesting small organisms. The sticky tentacles on their leaves attract and capture insects, and then enzymes are secreted to digest the prey.

These plants are capable of capturing their own prey, but in cultivation, they can be fed small insects or other invertebrates to supplement their diet. It's important not to overfeed them, as this can lead to rot or stress on the plants. Feeding should be done sparingly and in a way that mimics the natural prey-catching process.
